Finding Keywords

There are essentially two methods of finding keywords: the free ways and buying software. Guess which is better? :-p However, you can certainly find good keywords the free way. Here's how:

Since the free way is more tedious, I try to get 250 searches a month with less than 10,000 results. Since I try to optimize for at least 9,000 searches a month, you'll need 30-36 of these. First, go to adwords and enter in the website of the product you're promoting. Copy all of the 3+ word keywords to notepad (or export with the tool provided), then copy paste the whole list back into the keyword tool, and suggest new keywords. Next, check each phrase by searching it in Google in quotes. If it has less than 10,000 results, you have a winner! You can also use the free tool here: http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ , which will suggest long tail keywords.

A few words of wisdom: If your keywords aren't grammatically correct, skip them. It's such a pain to optimize for them that it isn't worth doing. Also, always keep in mind what the person searching that keyword is looking for. If they're looking for information, and not to buy, skip that keyword too.

If you have keyword software, find 5-6 keywords that get 1500 searches monthly and have less than 10,000 results. Next up: link wheels.

Sorry! What You Missed

Apologies for the delay! My 2 month old got sick, and then I got sick, so it's been a party at my house. Anyway, launched a PLR product of 30 articles for $15 (ha 7 left if anyone wants it), found a market that I like and am registering a domain name probably tomorrow. Keep in mind, you don't have to have a website, you can use wordpress or blogger, but YOU WILL MAKE MORE MONEY with a website. Plus (and this is why I'm buying a website), you can sell the website later for a decent amount.

My goal is to get this website to $1000 a month by the end of december, and then sell it for $6000-$8000. Want to know the best part? I only need 6 keywords to do this, and (with 3 hours a day) I can have all of the work done in a week.

Unfortunately, I'm probably just using this as an affiliate site, but I am looking for the next market, and I will hire someone to either rewrite a PLR ebook or write an ebook. By doing this, I can sell it on the site through PayPal, and the money comes straight to me. No clickbank, no waiting for a check, no hassles. Just good times. Even better, since I'm outsourcing the book, it takes no additional work! Remember, the point of growth is either to make more money, or make the same amount for less work.

By the way, if you ever have any questions or don't understand something, just ask me through comments. Thanks! Stay tuned for finding keywords!

Nose to the Grindstone

I hope someone reads/appreciates this blog. For those who don't know, I have a full time job (only way I can get insurance). So, the last 2 nights I have written articles from 10pm to 3am, gone to bed, then woken up at 7am and gone to work from 730-430. I also have a 2 month old son. So, I have no interest in anyone saying that they do not have time for these methods! (bear in mind I only did this two nights, and I can now outsource for the remainder of this project, so don't get scared!)

To make anything successful, you have to either invest money or time. Since we're starting with no money,we have to invest more time. However, I have reached my WSO article writing goal of $500, so I can move on and reinvest.

Now, if there's one (painful!) lesson I have learned from this, it is that making money is easy. That's right, I said it. The hard part is making automatic money. Was it exciting to log into paypal each day and see $100 more? Of course. But there's still a ton of work to do. So, we want to find a way to make just as much money, but have the work already done. Want to know how?

From my $500, I paid someone on Elance.com to write 30 articles for me that I will make into a PLR pack. I will charge $20 for this pack, and it will only be available to 25 warriors. For those bad at math, that is $500, which brings us to the $1000 we need.

This plan is basically a pyramid, and at each level I spend less time, but make more. Be the general, not the army.

Of this $1000 (which is around 90% profit by the way), I will build two websites. One will sell my own product, and one will be an affiliate site. I will sell both 30 days after they launch, and my goal is to sell each for at least $10,000. So, to learn how the hell I can do that, stay tuned!

(Sorry this post was so long, wanted to explain what was coming up)

Growth and whatnot

So I've made $420 from my article writing WSO). Yes, it's a ton of work, but $500 extra is pretty helpful. Anyway, the key to doing well with this internet thing is to run it as a business. So, reinvest your profits. Now that I'm almost to my $500 goal, it's time for the next step up. Even better, I have the money to outsource this next step. The short term goal is to get $1000 for a product launch/web site. Why so much? I really don't want to do any of the work. By working my but off now, and reinvesting my profits, and I save myself a ton of work later on. I'm hoping to have the next step done tomorrow to share with you, but I'm afraid that's all for tonight. Good luck!

$30 to $500 in One Week

There are a variety of ways to do this, but the way I've picked is literally instant. I spent $20, and in 2 days have made $300. How? Tedious, boring work. But, I truly believe that if you put in your time, it'll be worth it in the end. Besides, by doing this, I can quickly leverage the money I make to grow my business. So, what did I do? I simply paid $20 to post a WSO advertising article writing services. Do you have to write articles? No. But, to ensure quick income, find a tedious, boring part of the process to do for someone else. This IS NOT easy money, but it is quick money. So write articles, do forum posts, blog comments, yahoo answers, article directory submissions, whatever. Just find some part of the marketing process that no one wants to do and do it. I know it's not fun, or easy, but it's very empowering to finally get paid by paypal instead of the other way around. Feel free to comment or ask questions, thanks!

Welcome!

Just found out from the WF that they don't do follow along threads, so this is the blog! Enjoy!
